The Role:

  • Coach: Develop and inform your colleagues to help them become masters of Category Management.
  • Builder: Create innovative tools to help the sales team showcase the benefits of Molson products.
  • Storyteller: Craft compelling sales stories that inspire our retailers to stock their shelves and displays with Molson products.
  • Market Trends Expert: Be the go-to person for understanding and explaining consumer trends, market dynamics, and category insights.

The Responsibilities:

  • Develop critical insights and analytics to drive customers' beer/cider/RTD categories.
  • Provide understanding of category and channel insights to sales teams through syndicated and internal data.
  • Champion category capability development and solutions for sales teams.
  • Regular in-market work to evaluate effectiveness of plan implementation and identify retail volume/profit opportunities.
  • General performance reporting – track, measure, and communicate results.

Requirements:

  • At least 5-8 years' progressive experience in category management in consumer packaged goods or direct store delivery industries.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to take the initiative.
  • Curiosity and love for testing new tools and developing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and database software.
  • Nice-to-haves include proficiency or experience in JDA, Grocer Loyalty Programs, Nielsen Discover, Tableau, Geomatic, or Alteryx.
