Job Summary:
The Manager of Indigenous Community-Based Violence Prevention Initiatives is a key member of the Operational Team at Ka Ni Kanichihk Inc. and reports directly to the Director of Programs and Services. This role provides leadership in planning, budgeting, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of Ka Ni Kanichihk's Indigenous Community-Based Violence Prevention initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Administration: Responsible for all facets of program management and implementation, including planning, budgeting, evaluation, and reporting.
- Management of Program Staff: Provide appropriate training for program staff on program goals, objectives, activities, and procedures.
- Operational Team Participation: Responsible for active participation and leadership in organization management functions and decision-making processes.
- Leadership: Prepare presentations, briefing notes, and progress reports for the Director of Programs and Services, Council, Advisory Committee, and funding bodies as required.
- Program Planning and Service Coordination: Develop and implement operational directives and work plans; identify and create programming opportunities pertaining to Indigenous community-centered care and to build the Indigenous Community-Based Violence Prevention network.
- Program Reporting and Licensing: Responsible for ensuring all licensing standards are met and compliance regulations are identified and maintained.

The ideal candidate will have experience in program management, leadership, and community development, with a strong understanding of Indigenous community-based violence prevention initiatives.
