Program Manager for GBV Initiatives

At Ka Ni Kanichihk Inc., we prioritize the well-being of Indigenous Peoples and strive to provide exceptional services. As the Program Manager for GBV Initiatives, you will play a vital role in leading our team in planning, budgeting, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of our Gender-Based Violence Prevention initiatives.

The Opportunity:

You will be responsible for providing leadership, coaching, and resources to the Operational team, as well as fostering and maintaining multiple stakeholder relationships. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing operational directives and work plans that align with our organization's vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Administration: Responsible for all facets of program management and implementation, including planning, budgeting, evaluation, and reporting.
  2. Management of Program Staff: Provide appropriate training for program staff on program goals, objectives, activities, and procedures.
  3. Operational Team Participation: Responsible for active participation and leadership in organization management functions and decision-making processes.
  4. Leadership: Prepare presentations, briefing notes, and progress reports for the Director of Programs and Services, Council, Advisory Committee, and funding bodies as required.
  5. Program Planning and Service Coordination: Develop and implement operational directives and work plans; identify and create programming opportunities pertaining to Indigenous community-centered care and to build the GBV prevention network.
  6. Program Reporting and Licensing: Responsible for ensuring all licensing standards are met and compliance regulations are identified and maintained.
