The Vintage Hotels group is seeking a skilled Culinary Team Member to join our team at the Prince of Wales Hotel.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in one of Niagara's top kitchens, where you will be responsible for ensuring that team members have all the necessary food items to serve the menu and/or fill up the buffet on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct kitchen team members by scheduling workload and ensuring that food items are available and that special item menu and/or buffet requirements are attainable.
  • Execute dining room main line and ensure that kitchen standards are upheld at all times.
  • Perform inventory control functions and ensure the rotation of food stocks.
  • Check kitchen function sheets daily to ensure that food items are available and that special item menu and/or buffet requirements are attainable.
  • Assist with off-site catering and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a culinary environment.
  • Culinary management diploma or red seal designation an asset.
  • Off-site catering experience an asset.
  • Team leader and motivator.
