We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Records Specialist to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. This permanent, full-time position comes with a competitive salary of $90,000 per year, with opportunities for discretionary increases based on performance.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date technical records, including those related to airframe, engine, and component work scopes. They will assist project managers in ensuring that all relevant information is properly documented and certified.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor project work scopes and maintain accurate maintenance records, including life-limited items, airworthiness directives, and special inspections.
  • Maintain records for weight and balance amendments, equipment lists, loading data, and electrical load analysis.
  • Certify all maintenance functions in aircraft logbooks and component history sheets.
  • Prepare technical records as required for importation and exportation of aircraft.
  • Maintain technical files related to aircraft, engines, and components.
  • Understand company values and contribute to Flight Safety by remaining vigilant and respectful.
  • Generate tracking/status reports as needed.
  • Provide technical research support to the maintenance department.
  • Ensure accuracy of Component History Records (CHR) and transfer information according to established procedures.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in aviation working with technical records.
  • 2-3 years diploma or degree in mechanical, aviation, aerospace engineering, or records management.
  • Good understanding of aviation regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AW139/Bell 412EP maintenance programs.
  • Helicopter commercial and contract experience.
  • Ability to work in office and hangar environments.
  • Transport Canada Aviation Security clearance.
