Financial Operations Specialist

The Position: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  1. Develop and implement accounting systems to ensure accurate and complete financial data and records.
  2. Assess and improve technical accounting practices to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
  3. Oversee the implementation of effective internal controls to mitigate risks to the organization's financial health.
  4. Manage payroll administration and maintain and reconcile accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  5. Develop budgets for departments or projects and monitor performance to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  6. Use historical data to forecast future revenue and expenditure, and assess and mitigate risks to the organization's financial health.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or related field required.
