We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Supervisor to lead our team in Kaslo, BC. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for managing sales workers, overseeing daily tasks, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment, with a strong ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling cash, and making decisions quickly.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise sales workers, assigning tasks and providing guidance as needed
  • Oversee daily operations, including ordering merchandise, authorizing payments, and resolving customer issues
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including sales volumes and personnel matters
  • Ensure excellent customer service, responding to customer requests and complaints promptly
  • Organize and maintain inventory, managing stock levels and preventing shortages
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling cash and making decisions quickly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a dynamic environment
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $42,000 - $50,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
