About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Kaslo Mohawk (1987) Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles
  • Authorize payments by cheque and order merchandise to maintain adequate inventory levels
  • Establish work schedules and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory to prevent stockouts and overstocking
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to achieve optimal results
  • Manage cash transactions and conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and handle heavy loads while maintaining attention to detail. They must also be able to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.

Requirements
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required
  • Experience working in a retail environment is essential
  • Relocation costs will be covered by the employer
  • Will relocate to the job location
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
