About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Kaslo Mohawk (1987) Ltd. The successful candidate will oversee daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient sales processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage sales floor operations, including assigning tasks to sales staff and coordinating their activities.
  • Hire, train, and develop sales staff to ensure they possess the necessary skills to meet sales targets.
  • Process payments, order merchandise, and authorize returns to maintain smooth store operations.
  • Establish work schedules, track inventory, and perform cash management duties.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required; post-secondary education an asset.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills essential for success in this role.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with Point-of-Sale systems and basic accounting principles beneficial.
