Job Summary

The Program Supervisor - Residential Operations is a key leadership role within the Tamir Foundation, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of residential programs. This position requires a strong background in social services, with a focus on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resident Support and Advocacy
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
    • Collaborate with staff to create and implement individualized support plans, promoting resident autonomy and independence.
    • Advocate for residents' needs and interests, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
  • Human Resources
    • Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and support to provide high-quality care.
    • Develop and implement staff training programs, focusing on areas such as crisis management and conflict resolution.
  • Administration and Finance
    • Oversee the financial management of residential programs, ensuring budgets are met and resources are allocated effectively.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Tamir Foundation standards.
  • Professional Conduct
    • Model and promote a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusivity, ensuring a positive and supportive work environment.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and families, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in residential services.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with a focus on staff development and resident support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving.
