JOB TITLE: Nursing Program Supervisor

The City of Ottawa is committed to delivering exceptional care for residents with intricate health requirements. We are in search of a Nursing Program Supervisor to lead the provision of comprehensive care within a specified area.

JOB SUMMARY

In the role of Nursing Program Supervisor, you will take charge of managing and directing the Nursing Program and its personnel. Your primary objective will be to guarantee resident safety and involvement while providing high-quality care tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BScN)
  • 1-2 years of experience in geriatric or long-term care settings
  • Preferred post-basic training in gerontology
  • Membership with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario is desirable
  • Canadian Gerontological Certification is an advantage

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) designation with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

  • Specialized care practices for elderly patients
