About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Operations Leader to join our team at the Government of Canada - Western. This role will play a crucial part in driving business growth and success.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year (dependent on experience)

Job Description

The Strategic Operations Leader will be responsible for allocating resources to implement organizational policies and programs, authorizing department establishment, coordinating work across regions, and establishing financial and administrative controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational objectives
  • Oversee the establishment and management of major departments and senior staff positions
  • Coordinate the work of regional teams to drive business outcomes
  • Establish financial and administrative controls to ensure effective resource allocation
  • Represent the organization in negotiations and official functions
  • Select and develop middle managers, directors, and other executive staff

Work Environment

This role is based in a fast-paced environment with a large workload, requiring strong organizational and time management skills.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in a leadership or management role
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and success
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
