**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Strategic Leader to join our team at the Government of Canada - Western. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving organizational success and growth.

**About the Role:**

  • As a Strategic Leader, you will be responsible for allocating resources, establishing departments, and coordinating work across regions and divisions.
  • You will also establish objectives, formulate policies, and represent the organization in official functions.
  • In addition, you will select middle managers, directors, and other executive staff, delegating authority and creating optimum working conditions.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
  • Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
