We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Leader to join our team at Fraser Health, in the role of Executive Director, Access & Flow. This is an exceptional opportunity for a visionary leader who can drive change and improvement in patient flow and access to care.

About the Role

The Executive Director will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize patient flow and access to care across Fraser Health. This will involve working closely with senior leaders, clinicians, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management and a proven track record of leading complex organizational change initiatives. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient flow and access to care across Fraser Health
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, clinicians, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver projects and initiatives related to patient flow and access to care
  • Analyze data and performance metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous quality improvement
  • Represent Fraser Health at provincial health authorities, Ministry of Health, BC Emergency Health Services, and other external organizations to ensure optimal service support
Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in a field related to healthcare management, supplemented by 10-15 years of progressively senior management experience. They will also have a strong understanding of planning concepts related to service delivery, budgeting, staffing, quality, and strategic initiatives.

A sound working knowledge of healthcare systems, policies, and regulations is essential, as is the ability to lead and manage complex organizational change initiatives. The successful candidate will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.

We offer a competitive salary range of CAD $145,000 - $175,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
