Physiotherapy Specialist for Dynamic Healthcare Team

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our dynamic healthcare team at Halton Healthcare. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your assessment and treatment skills in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
About the RoleAs a Physiotherapist with Halton Healthcare, you will be responsible for assessing and treating musculoskeletal injuries, including WSIB, MVA, and extended health cases. You will work collaboratively with our interprofessional team to provide patient-centered care, promoting optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries, including WSIB, MVA, and extended health cases
- Develop and implement goal-oriented treatment plans, ensuring effective discharge management
- Participate in promotional activities, community education, program development, and accreditation standards
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to provide comprehensive patient care
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Current Registration and good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, with evidence of insurance coverage
- Experience working in an outpatient setting is an asset
- Ability to motivate, be empathetic, and client-centered in all interactions with patients
- Strong interpersonal skills, with proven ability to interact effectively with an interprofessional team
- Flexibility and ability to work independently and/or collaboratively with all team members
- Strong organizational abilities, with efficient time management skills
