We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Halton Healthcare. This is a temporary part-time position, approximately one year in duration, with various rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday.

About the Role

This role involves performing medical imaging procedures, utilizing specialized equipment and technology to capture high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment purposes. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and ensure that all imaging services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiography exams, adhering to established protocols and guidelines to ensure accurate and safe results
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss exam results and develop treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, exam results, and technical details
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements, applying new knowledge and skills to improve patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Degree in Radiography or related field from an approved program
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, remaining calm under pressure
