Salary

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $30.85 to $35.51 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide support to occupational therapists and physiotherapists on inpatient rehabilitation, complex transitional care, and inpatient units. This includes progressing patients with acute and complex medical conditions under the supervision of the therapists.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Graduate of a combined OT/PTA Certificate course from an accredited college
  • At least one year of experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • Demonstrated excellent patient care skills with medical, surgical, neurological, and geriatric caseloads
  • Shows initiative, flexibility, and enjoys working with a multidisciplinary team
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of a moderately heavy job
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Satisfactory attendance and employment record
