We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Halton Healthcare. As an OTA/PTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the occupational therapist and physiotherapist on inpatient rehab, complex transitional care, and inpatient units.



Responsibilities:


  • Support patients with acute and complex medical conditions under the supervision of therapists.
  • Contribute to patient progress and rehabilitation goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.


Requirements:


  • Graduate of combined OT/PTA Certificate course from an accredited college.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Excellent patient care skills, including medical, surgical, neurological, and geriatric caseloads.
  • Strong initiative, flexibility, and ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of a moderately heavy job.
  • Superior verbal communication skills.
  • Satisfactory attendance and employment record.
