TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Strategic Human Resources Professional to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Customer & Team Member Experience, this dynamic professional will be responsible for both strategic and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for leaders and team members regarding HR-related matters, providing timely and effective support.
  • Assist in the development and communication of HR objectives, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant employment legislation.
  • Participate in the administration of training and development programs, including sourcing providers and delivering sessions.
  • Oversee the coordination of employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires and departing employees.
  • Monitor and administer performance evaluation methods, conducting regular reviews and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Facilitate workplace investigations, communicating regularly with stakeholders and providing actionable insights.
  • Schedule and participate in monthly health and safety committee meetings, ensuring adherence to provincial regulations and industry standards.
  • Track and interpret updates to employment legislation, ensuring policies and procedures remain current and compliant.
  • Support recruitment efforts by participating in interviews, maintaining relationships with agencies, and facilitating new hire orientation.

Requirements:

  • College diploma or university degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Five 3-5 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist, preferably in a D2C environment.
  • CHRP certification required; previous experience on a Joint Health and Safety Committee or training part 1 and 2 considered an asset.
  • Prior knowledge or experience processing payroll, working with ATS systems, and conducting workplace investigations highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness essential.
