With a strong presence in southeast Saskatchewan, Academia Group seeks a visionary leader to drive the success of our institution. As President and Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for providing dynamic academic, executive, and operational leadership, ensuring the College's innovative spirit, collaborative approach, and sustainable practices thrive.

Southeast College serves a diverse region encompassing 70 communities across 20,000 square kilometers. Our institution operates six campuses, fostering partnerships with post-secondary institutions to deliver a wide range of career, vocational, and academic programs that meet the educational, economic, and labor force demands of southeastern Saskatchewan.

To achieve this vision, we require an exceptional individual who embodies the values of collaboration, innovation, and sustainability. The successful candidate will:

  • report directly to the Board of Governors, providing strategic leadership and guidance;
  • interface effectively with government agencies, First Nations and Metis authorities, post-secondary institutions, and private industry partners;
  • demonstrate expertise in K to 12 and post-secondary education, balanced with administrative and financial acumen;
  • exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, promoting a culture of respect and collaboration among staff, students, and community stakeholders;
  • navigate complex environments subject to uncertainty and external pressures.

A competitive salary ranging from $250,000 to $350,000 per annum is commensurate with experience and reflects the level of responsibility required for this position. To succeed, candidates must possess a graduate degree or equivalent, as well as experience working with governance boards and multiple stakeholders.
