Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Corporate Communications Advisor to join our team. As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing our presence on various social media platforms, supporting social media content creation, writing for social and web, and working closely with our Senior Communications Advisor to implement internal communications strategies and projects.
You will also be responsible for providing operational support for internal and external events, including logistical and communications requirements, maintaining media contact lists and messaging documentation, monitoring media mailbox and providing support for media inquiries, and performing other communications duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Public Relations, Communications, or Equivalent Work-Related Experience
- 3+ Years of Experience in Communications
- Understanding of Corporate Communications
- Tech-Savvy with Intermediate/Advanced Skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams
- Strong Interpersonal, Communication, and Listening Skills
- Strong Writing and Editing Skills
- Highly Self-Motivated with Ability to Learn Quickly and Solve Problems
- Strong Organization and Planning Skills
- Detail-Oriented but Also Understands Strategy and Sees Big Picture
- Strong Project Management Skills with Consistent Focus on Prioritizing Projects, Communicating Project Status, and Meeting Deadlines
- Ability to Work Independently, Often with Minimal Supervision, in Fast-Paced Environment
- Ability to Multitask, Take Initiative, and Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously
- Ability to Work Under Pressure and Easily Adapt to Competing and/or Rapidly Changing Priorities and See Opportunity in Change
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year (dependent on experience)
