Rehabilitation Officer

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Officer to join our team at Red 5 People. As a key member of our community hub, you will play a vital role in supporting ex-offenders as they transition back into society.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of clients through one-to-one sessions, providing guidance on accessing housing, benefits, and employment opportunities.
- Facilitate access to on-site amenities, including a gym, music studios, and arts and crafts areas.
- Develop and implement personalized support plans to help clients achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with support workers to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to client support.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience working within the criminal justice system, preferably in a resettlement or probation setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- A strong understanding of the challenges faced by ex-offenders and a passion for supporting their rehabilitation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of clients.
