Rehabilitation Officer

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Officer to join our team at Red 5 People. As a key member of our community hub, you will play a vital role in supporting ex-offenders in their journey towards rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of clients through one-to-one sessions, providing guidance and support in accessing housing, benefits, and employment opportunities.
- Facilitate access to on-site amenities, including a gym, music studios, and arts and crafts areas, to promote physical and emotional well-being.
- Develop and implement personalized plans to help clients achieve their goals, including budgeting, cooking, and wellness skills.
- Collaborate with support workers to ensure a comprehensive and supportive environment for clients.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience working within the criminal justice system, preferably in a resettlement or probation setting. Alternatively, you may have a background in social work, counseling, or a related field. A strong understanding of the challenges faced by ex-offenders and a passion for supporting their rehabilitation are essential.
