About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Officer to join our team at Red 5 People. As a key member of our community hub, you will play a vital role in supporting ex-offenders as they reintegrate into society.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients through one-to-one sessions, providing guidance on accessing housing, benefits, and employment opportunities.
  • Facilitate access to training courses, employment support, and life skills development, such as budgeting, cooking, and wellness.
  • Collaborate with support workers to deliver a range of activities, including arts and crafts, music, and doughnut and debate clubs.
  • Work closely with clients to develop personalized plans, setting goals and objectives to support their rehabilitation and reintegration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have experience working within the criminal justice system, perhaps as a prison officer, resettlement officer, or probation officer. Alternatively, you may have a background in supporting individuals on a one-to-one basis in roles such as a project worker, support worker, or employment advisor.
