Rehabilitation Officer

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Officer to join our team at Red 5 People. As a key member of our community hub, you will play a vital role in supporting ex-offenders in their journey towards rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of clients through one-to-one sessions, providing guidance on accessing housing, benefits, and employment opportunities.
- Facilitate access to essential services, including healthcare, education, and training programs.
- Develop and implement personalized support plans to help clients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
- Collaborate with other support workers and external agencies to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to client support.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably in a criminal justice or social care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple caseloads.
- A deep understanding of the challenges faced by ex-offenders and a commitment to supporting their rehabilitation and reintegration.
