Game Operations Engineer

As a key member of our global operations team at Code Wizards, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' games.

We're looking for a seasoned professional with a passion for the games industry and a knack for technical problem-solving.

Your expertise in DevOps and cloud infrastructure will be instrumental in helping us deliver exceptional gaming experiences to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with game studios to design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes
  • Provide expert-level support for game infrastructure, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve efficiency and procedures
Requirements:
  • Deep experience with Linux server administration and cloud infrastructure
  • Excellent knowledge of containers, clouds, and virtual machines (preferably AWS)
  • Strong scripting and coding skills, with a focus on clean, scalable, and performant code
  • Highly productive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in the gaming industry, ideally with backend systems for online games
  • Knowledge of game engines such as Unity or Unreal
