Systems Infrastructure Specialist

Bardel Entertainment is seeking a skilled Systems Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's infrastructure to support our Emmy award-winning studio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy highly redundant and secure systems
- Administer and maintain physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructure
- Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure production-facing services meet required standards
- Collaborate with multiple teams to design and deploy new systems
- Provide input on potential improvements in efficiency, reliability, and performance of the animation pipeline
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with automated deployment tools (Foreman, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform)
- Configuration management experience, ideally with Puppet/Ansible
- Experience administering Microsoft Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP)
- Orchestration of containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Scripting knowledge, preferably bash/PowerShell
- Windows/Linux software deployment and OS imaging (Foreman, Chocolatey, Artifactory)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to deliver project deliverables on time and in scope
Bonus Experience:
- Experience in the media and entertainment industry (VFX, television, animation, or gaming)
- Experience with networking and security (Firewall Management, routing, and switching)
- Experience with logging and metrics collection/analysis
- Experience managing and maintaining automation tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Knowledge of storage technologies (Qumulo, NetApp, Isilon, Cohesity, and S3)
