Crop Defenders Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient management of our farm operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Farm Safety Procedures: Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Financial and Production Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial and production records to track farm performance and make informed decisions.
  • Client Negotiations: Negotiate with clients to provide services and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Agricultural Crop Services: Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting to ensure optimal crop yields.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers to ensure efficient operations.
  • Quality Control: Maintain quality control and production records to ensure high-quality products.
  • Livestock and Crop Management: Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs, as well as growing and other crop-related operations.
  • Staff Management: Hire and train staff to ensure a skilled and efficient workforce.
  • Machinery and Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Apiary and Honey Harvesting Experience: Manage apiaries and oversee honey harvesting operations.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in farm operations or a related field.
  • Health care plan provided.
  • Permanent employment.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
