About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Kitchener region. As an Occupational Therapist with Closing the Gap, you will have the opportunity to work with clients of all ages, providing therapy services in their homes and schools. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.


Job Description

This role involves assessing clients' needs and developing personalized therapy plans to improve their well-being and quality of life. You will work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to achieve treatment goals and provide complex preventative or corrective actions for clients with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric clients and possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.


Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must be a graduate of a recognized Post-Secondary program in Occupational Therapy and hold current active registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. A strong understanding of health promotion programs, equipment prescription, and client safety protocols is essential. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are also required.


Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience.
