Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Minuteman Press New Westminster. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising other workers, training new staff, and maintaining office procedures and routines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train other workers to ensure efficient office operations
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines to improve productivity
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
  • Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries
  • Order office supplies, maintain inventory, and arrange travel itineraries
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
