Restaurant Operations Manager Job Description

At SUBWAY RESTAURANT, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Oversee the balancing of cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain a high level of financial accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial and territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to meet customer demand and minimize waste.
  • Implement health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to optimize the cost and quality of products.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to expand revenue streams.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Supervise staff in various areas of responsibility to ensure a high level of performance and teamwork.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks to meet customer demand.
  • Handle heavy loads and physically demanding tasks to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Attention to detail is essential to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.
  • Overtime may be required to meet business needs and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Work setting: Restaurant.
  • Language of work: Anglais.
  • Hours of work: 40 hours per week.
