Job Overview

The Government of Canada - Central is seeking a highly skilled Executive Director of Operations Management to join their team. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to lead and manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of operations management policies and programs.

Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional leader with extensive experience in operations management, information technology infrastructure, and human resources planning. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the organization in negotiations and other official functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize organizational performance
  • Analyze financial records to assess competitiveness and market value
  • Establish and implement marketing and sales strategies to drive business growth
  • Lead a team of middle managers and directors to achieve organizational objectives
  • Manage contracts and budgets to ensure efficient use of resources

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or information technology
  • 3-4 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a senior leadership role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification
