Frisby Ridge Teriyaki & Sushi is seeking a Restaurant Operations Manager
to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to multitask.
About the Job:
We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager who can ensure that all aspects of our restaurant run smoothly. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a proven track record of managing staff and maintaining high standards of quality control.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff and service staff to maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency;
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure efficient meal preparation and minimize waste;
- Maintain accurate records of stock, sales, and repairs to inform business decisions;
- Prepare food order summaries for chefs and other stakeholders;
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak periods;
- Oversee the assembly and delivery of food trays and trolleys to maintain customer satisfaction;
- Collaborate with chefs and other managers to implement quality control measures and improve menu offerings.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Permanent full-time position (30-40 hours per week);
- English as the primary language of communication;
- Promptness and reliability in meeting deadlines and commitments;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum
