We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Team Lead to oversee the culinary operations at Paramjit's kitchen.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000-$65,000, depending on experience, plus benefits including gratuities and a permanent work term.
Job Description
This leadership role requires a strong background in food service management. The successful candidate will have prior experience as a supervisor or team lead in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
- Supervising staff who prepare and portion food
- Training employees in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols
- Estimating ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation
- Maintaining quality control standards for food and service
- Preparing budgets and cost estimates
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead position
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility and initiative
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and lifting. You must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
