Job Title: Learning Solutions Business Partner

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Solutions Business Partner to join our team at Home and Community Care Support Services. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving performance excellence through the development and delivery of learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver learning solutions that meet the needs of our learners
  • Facilitate formal training for new and existing employees
  • Support new hires in their onboarding process, including performance coaching and support post-training
  • Conduct ongoing performance audits to identify learning needs and solutions

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in delivering learning solutions, facilitation, and/or design in a patient-centric environment
  • Regulated Health Professional preferred
  • Previous experience applying adult learning principles
  • Previous experience facilitating technical learning programs, ideally in a healthcare environment
  • Proven excellent presentation and group facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated focus on providing innovative solutions to meet learner needs
  • Knowledge of Case Management and RAI training preferred
  • Post-secondary education in Adult Education preferred
  • Previous experience designing, delivering, and evaluating customer service training preferred
  • Knowledge of Change Management preferred
  • Knowledge of HCCSS policies, procedures, and administrative practices
  • Knowledge of HCCSS patient services strategies, objectives, priorities, and programs
  • Practical knowledge of Long Term Care Act, Substitute Decisions Act, Placement Regulations, and Health Care Consent Act
  • Good knowledge of community resources and services
  • Strong understanding and commitment to quality programs and best practices
  • Excellent working knowledge of patient database systems
  • Successful completion of RAI-HC competency modules
  • Proven facilitator experience with excellent communication skills
  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to maintain positive working relationships
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders to determine needs and build learning solutions
  • Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Solid ability to use MS Office applications
  • Highly detailed with strong organizational, time management, prioritization, planning, and multi-tasking skills
  • Flexible, adaptable, and responsive to change
  • Accountable for own actions and decisions
  • Self-directed with ability to work independently
  • Excellent understanding of communication in education and training
  • Courteous and respectful in all interactions
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, effective listening, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Empathy for sensitive issues
  • Ability to communicate in French or another language an asset
