We are seeking a highly skilled Conflict Management Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will provide expert advice and support to clients on conflict management policies, standards, practices and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) information and awareness sessions, or briefings for general audiences;
  • Plan and deliver conflict management training;
  • Coaches supervisors, managers, and personnel on conflict management skills, and on the use of related dispute resolution tools and processes;
  • Participate in committees and work groups/projects with a conflict management component;
  • Apply knowledge of conflict management principles and best practices to develop and implement effective solutions.

Requirements:

  • A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in conflict management, human resources management, or another field relevant to the position;
  • Completion of a minimum of one hundred (100) hours of acceptable training in conflict management which must include forty (40) hours of mediation training;
  • Five years of experience in conflict management or related fields;
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities, effectively apply Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) skills, and facilitate training using adult learning principles.
