Overview

Stonewood Group Inc., a leading innovator and manufacturer of recycled rubber vibration and sound control systems, is seeking a seasoned Sales Director to drive growth in the North American market.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating profitable growth, with a strong understanding of the development and construction ecosystem.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to lead our sales team in North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to expand our markets, improve our profitability, and drive top-line results.

The role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to expand our presence in the North American market.
  • Sales Team Management: Lead and manage a team of sales engineers and representatives to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships to drive growth and revenue.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the construction industry.
  • Competitive Analysis: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors' activities to inform sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in technical sales/business development, with at least three years in a senior sales management and leadership role.
  • A Bachelor's degree from a university in engineering or science, with preference given to individuals also having a business degree.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the key drivers that affect sales through direct and indirect channels and how to use those levers to achieve desired outcomes.
