Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Manager to join our team at Midas. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for managing and directing all service department activities, including sales, customer service, and technician operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and sales by listening and consulting with customers
  • Follow up with customers on services requested, estimated completion times, and other important details
  • Oversee complete vehicle diagnostic inspections and make comprehensive recommendations, building computerized repair orders and sourcing parts
  • Create, deliver, and discuss pricing estimates with customers, as well as promote shop service specials
  • Lead, manage, and train team members while maintaining alignment with our company vision, purpose, and core values
  • Supervise sales and service processes
  • Oversee technicians' diagnostic inspections and repairs of domestic and imported cars and light trucks
  • Maintain inventory counts and ensure overall cleanliness and organization of the facility
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of store or service manager experience
  • General automotive knowledge and automotive mechanic experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service disposition and good communication skills
  • Leadership ability and team-building skills
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including rotating half-day Saturdays
  • Valid driver's license
  • Past experience demonstrating ability to enhance sales success and drive shop growth

Compensation

$55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
