About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Yummy Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas.
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for use in food preparation.
  • Inventory Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Keep records of the quantities of food used and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and maintain a high level of productivity while ensuring excellent customer service.
