About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Yummy Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Ensure that all food is prepared to a high standard and presented in an appealing way.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, including work surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.
    • Ensure that all cleaning and sanitizing tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to customers, including taking orders and serving food.
    • Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language
    • English language proficiency.
Working Conditions
  • Work Hours
    • 30 hours per week.
