About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented individual to join our kitchen team at Aliments Kitchen Ltd as a Kitchen Helper. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Food Preparation and Service**: Assist in preparing and serving food to our customers, including loading buspans and trays, operating dishwashers, and sanitizing dishes and equipment.
  • **Cleaning and Sanitation**: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, as well as cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
  • **Food Handling and Storage**: Handle and store food and ingredients in a safe and efficient manner, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • **Waste Management**: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and free of clutter.
  • **Teamwork**: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • **Fast-Paced Environment**: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • **Physical Demands**: Lift and move heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • **Weight Handling**: Lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of food, equipment, and supplies.
