Job Title: Salesforce Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team at Tarkett. As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Development: Develop scalable and secure Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
  2. Custom Solutions: Customize Salesforce to fit business requirements, including creating custom objects, fields, validation rules, flows, and lightning web components.
  3. Integration: Integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and third-party applications.
  4. Best Practices: Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and design patterns. Participate in code reviews and provide support to team members.
  5. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, system architecture, and user guides.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, administrators, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  7. Testing and Deployment: Develop and execute unit tests, support system testing, and manage deployment processes.
  8. Support: Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues within Salesforce, ensuring system stability and performance.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a solid understanding of the Salesforce platform.
  3. Previous Experience: Previous experience as a Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst, or similar role is required.

Technical Skills:

  1. Strong Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, including workflows, validation rules, and security settings.
  2. Experience: Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP) and integration tools (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica).
  3. Experience: Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  4. Understanding: Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
  5. Proven Experience: Proven experience leading code reviews and mentoring junior developers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I preferred; additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified Application Architect) are a plus.
  2. Experience: Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  3. Experience: Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  4. Experience: Experience with Salesforce Maps.
  5. Experience: Experience with Microsoft Azure Dev Ops.
  6. Competency: Competency in HTML, XML, SQL, Java and/or REST and SOAP-based web services.
