About the RoleJoin Our Faculty as a Lead Biomedical Engineer for Aging Innovations
We invite applicants to contribute to our vibrant community of researchers, clinicians, students, staff, and community partners working together at the Centre for Aging SMART.
This is a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, reporting to the Director of the School of Biomedical Engineering.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD or equivalent, be registered or eligible to register with Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC), and demonstrate evidence of ability in teaching and scholarly activity.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Run a World-Class Research Program in Aging Innovations
- Teach and Mentor Undergraduate, Graduate, and Postgraduate Learners
- Provide Service to the University and Broader Academic Community
- PhD or Equivalent in Biomedical Engineering or Related Field
- Demonstrated Evidence of Ability in Teaching and Scholarly Activity
- Registration or Eligibility to Register with EGBC
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
A Competitive Salary: $135,000 - $145,000 per Annum
