Job Summary

The Non-Profit Operations Analyst plays a key role in leading the Community of Practice (COP) Committee for the Operational Support function at BC Housing. This position is responsible for monitoring the province-wide administration of financial review, budget/subsidy processes, and operational review processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the COP Committee to develop and implement best practices for operational support functions.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and business processes to support the province-wide implementation of departmental objectives.
  • Supervise and train Financial Review and Budget Analysts (FRBAs) to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide information and advice on financial review and subsidy processes.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Business Administration or relevant discipline.
  • Considerable progressive experience in financial review and design of work processes and methods.
  • Advanced proficiency in computer applications, including ERP systems, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
  • Strong analytical, research, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
