Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and fostering strategic partnerships in the high-rise construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including general contractors, developers, architects, and engineers in the GTA.
  • Opportunity Identification: Proactively seek out new business opportunities and secure contracts for subcontracted high-rise development projects.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets and expand market presence.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams to tailor proposals and bids that meet client needs and align with company capabilities.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms and conditions, including pricing, scope of work, timelines, and payment terms.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain a comprehensive CRM system to track leads, client interactions, and project progress.
  • Industry Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform business strategy.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and foster relationships.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in business development within the construction industry or equivalent.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of success in securing contracts and driving business growth.
  • Network: Extensive network of contacts and relationships within the GTA construction sector.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute business development plans. Highly organized with excellent time management and prioritization abilities. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Additional Requirements: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
