Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Care Specialist to join our team in Kitchener/Cambridge area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of foot care services to clients in community and facility settings.

  • All necessary supplies will be provided by Spectrum Health Care Inc.
  • The Care Specialist will conduct thorough foot assessments, provide treatment, and maintain accurate electronic documentation.
  • They will adhere to safe work practices and risk management policies.
  • Assessing client needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and communicating effectively with Total Care resources will be essential duties.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) in good standing.
  • Advanced and Diabetic Foot Care certification required.
  • Prior experience in foot care is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A valid G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and ability to learn proprietary software.
  • Fluency in a second language is an asset.
