We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Long-Term Care Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Nursing Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, including assessments, medication management, wound care, and mobility assistance.">
  • Leadership: Lead and mentor nursing staff, ensuring they receive the necessary support and resources to deliver excellent care.">
  • Communication: Collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and resident-centered care.">
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance activities, including audits, surveys, and performance improvement initiatives.">
  • Education and Training: Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, sharing knowledge with colleagues to enhance our collective expertise.">

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field; Master's degree preferred.">
  • Certifications: Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Canada.">
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in long-term care or gerontology; leadership experience an asset.">
  • Skills: Strong clinical knowledge, leadership, and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.">

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
