About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Corporate Reporting and Financial Analysis to join our team at goeasy Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in facilitating our financial close and disclosure process, as well as providing significant support in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Perform financial analysis and provide insights to management on financial performance and trends.
    • Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to support business decisions.
  • Accounting and Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, including IFRS and internal controls.
    • Manage corporate accounting, including payroll, treasury, share-based compensation, and investment accounting.
    • Prepare and review regulatory filings, including TSX, OSC, SEDAR, and SEDI reports.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, including coaching and development opportunities.
    • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
Requirements
  • CPA, CA designation or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in finance, including recent experience in accounting policies and consolidation.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and internal controls.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft D365, OneStream, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
