Skilled Trades Ontario is seeking a highly skilled Director, Corporate Reporting to lead our financial and non-financial reporting processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for regulatory and ministerial reporting, including financial, non-financial, information management, and FIPPA.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance practices.
  • Lead the preparation and review of financial and non-financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate reporting requirements and gather necessary information.
  • Manage and mentor a team of professionals, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Five to ten years of progressive management experience within a regulatory environment.
  • Knowledge of financial principles, reporting, and practices, as well as procurement and supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
