  • The Rohit Group is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee in-field construction activities and manage the overall project execution from start to finish for wood-framed apartment and multi-family buildings in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the primary Owner's representative, oversee in-field construction activities as carried out by our General Contracting partner.
  • Provide guidance and support for on-site resolution, particularly those related to wood-framed construction.
  • Reviewing and interpreting issued-for-construction drawings, providing feedback and guidance in value engineering exercises.
  • Performing random quality assurance checks, documenting deficiencies that have not yet been noted by the General Contractor.

Project Management Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project life cycle from stage four of the pre-construction cycle through to completion and turnover of the building.
  • Alongside the Development Manager, develop the project budget and cash flow.
  • Manage the project budget and ensure we meet our financial and profitability commitments.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders including internal team members, executives, consultants, local authorities, and the general contracting partner.

Leadership and Support:

  • Recruit, train, manage, and lead the local project management team for apartment and multi-family development.
  • Collaborate with team members representing the development, treasury, accounting, legal, human resource, and commercial functions.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in construction and/or project management, with a proven track record in apartment and multi-family residential projects.
  • An undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or in an adjacent field.
  • Demonstrated history of problem solving, dispute resolution, and contract negotiations.
